Hacking, coughing, spewing echoes of what's not done with me yet. But I shall ring in the new year with a hammer and pound these lies, this self-righteousness, this despair into dust.

Might take awhile.
Weeks, months, maybe longer.
Maybe the lifetime I have left.

Doesn't matter. What does is that I wield this hammer relentlessly until I am free of the voice in my head that says
I can't.
